How to play Nest Riders

Choose your rider
Start with a rabbit. Rescue fantasy creatures, dinosaurs, and mythic beasts. Each pet has its own ability and resistance.

Take a guarded egg
Each nest has several eggs. A guardian will chase you when you enter its territory or take an egg. Higher-level regions have faster guardians.

Get back to camp
Escape with your prize, collect coins, and buy permanent speed or heat upgrades. Unlocked pets wander around your camp.

Branch through a changing world
Forest, fen, ice, mesa, volcano, and highlands form a connected web of trails. Dangerous areas sometimes reveal a rare golden egg. Bring a pet with the right resistance, then race home.

Play your way
Keyboard: WASD or arrow keys move in the overhead view. Press V for a behind-the-rider camera: W/S move forward and back, A/D strafe, and left/right arrows turn. Press M for the map, E to interact and Space for your pet's ability.
Phone: Use the on-screen joystick and action buttons. Drag the scene to turn the behind-the-rider camera. Switch pet detail, turn off effects, or enable power saving from the game header if you prefer a lighter experience.
Friends: Create a room for up to six players. Position updates use WebRTC when available, with a lightweight relay fallback. Progress is saved in your browser.
Each region has its own background music. Open Music & Sound in the game to adjust music, effects and volume. Audio begins after your first tap or keypress.
